Northxeast has a good list for new bloggers to create an established blog look.
01. Don’t advertise your subscriber numbers
02. Get your first 15-25 posts out quickly so theres a decent amount of content on the site.
03. Get rid of date based archives or anything that immediately shows how new your blog is.
04. Either get comments or remove comments.
05. Jumpstart things with a review, advert or some other traffic source.
06. Have non-post content on the site as well.
07. Don’t run advertisements in the first month.
08. Make sure your content is original!
09. Use Images and Diagrams
